Nicholas J. Butler

Hello, my name is Nicholas J. Butler or Nick. I am an eighteen year old web developer, graphic designer, electrical engineer and all around tech guy living in Boise, Idaho. I was born and raised in Kuna, Idaho for fourteen years. I love technology, and I aspire to become a astronautical propulsion engineer at NASA or SpaceX. I have been programming since I was eleven years old, starting with HTML4. I am now familiar in HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, C, C++, GML, Java, JQuery, PHP, SQL, Arduino C, and Visual Basic.

One of my favorite hobbies is to build. I love to create, whether it is art, furniture, or weaponry. I have always had a profound need to build and create. For me, building trancends functionality; aesthetics, innovation and creativity are just as important. It is also important for me to understand how systems work. Without understanding how the system works, it is doomed to collapse. Technical expertise is integral to build and control technology effectively. Some things I have built include an ion thruster, an electric stun glove, a 555 timing circuit, a wooden desk, and touchscreen vehicle operating system.
